Day 3 just ended and there are a lot of changes. The biggest is injuries. John Combs is out with an injury and Mike John, Daniel Sathler and David Evers, Samson Phomabout are likely out as well. This is will shake some things us as Sathler and Evers were up quite a few points and set to enter the playoffs. Both were a bit too late tapping to leg locks and it looks like they won't be able to continue.
That said, this wasn't a bad day of grappling by any means. There were a lot of subs and action. Many other players who started out slow really picked things up on day 3 and are making runs for the play offs. Let's take a look at the points.

Thoughts
Another great day of PGF action, but injuries might end up shaping this season. 2 big hitters in David Evers and Daniel Sathler are likely out, so we will see how this shapes who will get into the playoffs.
At this point it looks like this is a 2 team race between Rigan Machado's 1st Phorm and Jean Jaques Machado's X Martial arts team. I'm sure they are going to be arguing about this at the next BBQ. Both teams have a signiifigant lead over the Black Rifle Coffee and Team Epic roll. Right now X Martial Arts is ahead, but gong into the last day Rigan's team might be able to pull ahead.
Jett Thomson is looking like a breakout star during season 6. He is only 17 years old, but has subbed John Combs and David Evers. He has looked tough in each of his matches and hasn't even come close to being submitted. Although he is young, he is easily one of the most skilled competitors and I'd like to see him again outside of the PGF.
Elijah Carlton is the King of the PGF and has won almost every season. He is doing well this season and came up against his toughest challenge in PJ Barch. He confidently entered 50/50 and attacked PJ'e legs. A few moments later he was tapping out. I believe this was the first time Elijah has been tapped in the PGF and even more surprisingly, he was tapped with a heelhook, which is his specialty. That just shows you anyone can get got.
Day 3 was another great day of PGF acton. There is only 1 day left and things are still up in the air. Who will punch their ticket into the final? Can 1st Phorm steel the team title from X Martial arts? We'll see tomorrow, which is the finally day for the regular season. Make sure you check back here for more info.
