WNO 23 Meregali vs Rocha

I apologize for this one. I'm having some personal problems and I didn't have the use of a computer, so this one might not look too nice. I'll try to get the results and stats right for you though. This was a good event and worth watching even though it didn't have the hype of some others.

How People Won

This event had 70% of its matches end in submission, which is amazing. While the event didn't have the biggest names, the people that competed really showed their skills and made thing entertaining. 30% of the matches ended with a choke, 20% ended with legs locks and 20% ended with armlocks. Overall it was fairly balanced and we got to see a variety of techniques on display.

Stats

Overall

There is a lot to like at this event. Action, subs and some nice match ups. Everyone was counting out Nicky Ryan, but he came through with the submission and proved he deserved to be invited to ADCC. Andrew Tackett and Tommy was a great fun match that I wouldn't have thought of. Baby Shark also looked good and showed off his submission skills. 70% of the matches ended in submission, so you can't ask for much more.

I'll be going back and doing the ADCC Asian trials, but will likely not post an article, or just do a short one like this. I'll try to get a full break down of Fightpass Invitational 7 out soon though, so make sure to check back soon.
