PGF Season 9 Week 5 (Regular Season Finale)

We are at the last week of PGF season 9 and this will determine the winning team and who will go to the playoffs. We had a really good season and now we just need the playoffs to determine the individual winner.

How People Won

I recorded a 50% sub rate here. Surprisingly there were no chokes and the vast majority of the submissions I recorded were leglocks. Perhaps there were more chokes in the matches I didn't cover, but I'm a bit surprised I didn't encounter any in the matches I chose to record here. I will be compiling the whole season next post, so stay tuned for that as it will give you a better picture of what happened this season.

Congrats to the Las Vegas Kings. They won the regular season with the help of coach Ricky Lundel. Jett Thomson and Austin Oranday really put in a lot of work to get this win and I think it is well deserved.  The season has been great so far and I hope the playoffs live up to the regular season. I think Jett Thomson is the favorite, but I could see anyone taking it, especially with EBI rules in play. Kevin Beuhring has apparently already beaten Jett in EBI before, so a rematch might be in order here. I'm looking forward to the playoff and be sure to check back here for the full Season 9 stats.
