How People Won


This division also produced way more submissions than I thought. I'm a bit surprised there were no arm locks, but overall we got a 73.3% submission rate, which is amazing. Usually the big guys tend to stall out to decisions, but they were really going for it this year.

Overall


The big men really impressed me this year. Kaynan and Luke both looked really good on their runs to the finals. Daniel Schuardt really made a name for himself and showed off a dangerous 50/50 leglock game. On top of that we got to see Achilles Rocha put the pedal to the metal and prove he is a legit threat at this weight class. Usually I have to complain about the matches with these big guys, but I have nothing but praise this time. The only thing I can say is "keep it up".
