PGF Season 7 Day 2

Day 2 wrapped up and 1 team really knocked it out of the park. Pedro Sauer really knows how to pick a team and it looks like he will be cruising into the winning spot at the end of the week. How People Won

Let me state here that I didn't do stats for every match. I did the first 10 matches in the 1st block and the 6 more matches. The 6 other matches were just the matches I wanted to watch. I tried to keep things fair by not looking at the results before deciding to do stats on those 6, so there shouldn't be any bias in them hopefully.

We got about the same submission percentage as last time, but it somehow seems like there were a few more today. Maybe the ones that I didn't record had some subs. Also there were only leg submissions, which is really strange. For some reason people are having a hard time finishing from the back during PGF 7. This sub rate is fairly normal and overall these stats are fairly good.

Stats

Overall

This was another good day. There were some surprises, such as Brad Schneider. On day 1 he was subbed twice and I wrote him off as someone who was just going to be a grappling dummy. On day 2 he turned it around and earned 2 subs himself. There was slightly less action, but this was due to 1 or 2 matches being a bit slow. Day 2 had more ups and downs than day 1, but I think the exciting moments were better today.

I think that during the draft, many people were overlooking team New Hope Regeneration. Pedro Sauer knows what he's doing though. His team might have pulled ahead so far, thing might already be over.

Let's get ready for Day 3 and see who will make it into the playoffs.

Check out the other days here.
